KNF Standing Desk Warranty

Any documentation of the problem that you can provide to us, such as photos or videos will dramatically improve our ability to quickly and correctly identify the root cause of the issue and resolve it for you.

We will diagnose any defect or malfunction, and replace parts if necessary Free of charge (shipping not included). Please email us at support@knfsolidwood.com any photos or videos to correctly identify the issue and speed up the process.

The KNF Desk warranty period begins when you receive the product.

After receiving your warranty information, allow 1-3 business days to process, then we will contact you for repair or ship the replacement part within 1-2 business days via standard ground service, or expedited shipping at your expense.

Applicable Warranty Periods

Our warranty is applicable for unlimited use of the product, and not constrained to how many hours of usage a day.

7 Year

  • All Standing Desks: all frame components, mechanical parts, motors, and electrical components (desktops have a 6 Year warranty)
  • Monitor Arms
  • Desk Casters

6 Year

  • Desktops and Tabletops (please note that all standing desk frames and table frames have a 10 Year warranty). We do not guarantee a strict continuity of color, grain pattern, or texture across non-sequential purchases or colorfastness over the desktop surfaces' lifespan.

5 Year

  • Office Chairs
  • Desktop Converters, Desk Extensions

1 Year

  • Stools, Mats
  • Power grommets, Power Outlets, Power Hubs, USB Hubs, Surge protectors, 8-Outlet Mountable Surge Protector

KNF Desk Warranty Exclusions

The product warranty is valid for the original purchaser of the product only and is non-transferable.

This warranty does not apply to:

  • Normal wear and tear that occurs with use over time
  • Products located outside of the United States
  • Wood products that experience natural shifting of color over time or due to light exposure
  • Damage caused by improper assembly or disassembly, improper cleaning supplies, customer modifications, abuse, or force majeure, such as fire, hurricanes or floods, use of a product in combination with items not appropriate for that product, misuse, abuse

Warranty covers parts only. We do not provide installation service.

The cost of repairing or replacing other property damaged in the event of an KNF Desk product malfunctioning (consequential damages) and the cost of lost time or loss of use of your desk (incidental damages) are not recoverable under this warranty.

Please keep all packaging materials until you have assembled, installed, and used all ordered items in the event that you notice any damage to your items or you decide to return any items within 30 days. All returned products must be in the original packaging. See our Return page for more information about non-warranty returns.

Damaged by Carrier or Missing in Transit

In the unlikely event an item arrives damaged or is missing parts, please notify us immediately. We require photos of the damaged item(s) and damaged packaging in order for us to make a claim with the shipping carrier. Speed matters since most carriers only allow us to file claims within 48 hours of delivery. We will make every effort to help you obtain the necessary replacements as quickly as possible and at no extra cost to you.

Freight Shipping: If the freight delivery packaging appears to be even slightly damaged, please write "Package Damaged" when you sign for the freight delivery. Do not reject the delivery. Accepting the delivery and allowing us to replace any damaged items will be much faster and less complicated. Please take pictures of the freight packaging before disassembling the pallet.

Desk Help and Troubleshooting

Get your desk working in just 5 minutes. Half of all reported standing desk issues are resolved by a simple desk reset procedure! Please contact us by email at support@knfsolidwood.com for reset instruction. It only takes a few minutes and avoids unneeded warranty correspondence.

Desktop Warranty

Warranty support for solid wood desktops includes both a detailed assessment of any defects and also expert advice from our woodworker regarding proper care for your desktop to keep it looking its best for years to come. You will play a big part in the life of your solid wood desktop. Handmade wood furniture requires some basic care and maintenance on your part to preserve its natural beauty and keep it in tip-top shape. Natural imperfections on our solid wood desktops add character and do not qualify for repairs or replacements. 
We are happy to offer replacement desktops to existing customers at a reduced cost if your desktop is damaged and doesn't qualify for warranty replacement. Reach out to our Support at support@knfsolidwood.com to see your options for replacing your desktop.

If your desk frame is not fixed by following our reset and troubleshooting instruction, we can provide replacement KNF Desk warranty parts. We apologize for any inconvenience you have experienced and are here to help you get your desk repaired as quickly and easily as possible. Please contact us to order replacement parts.

What if I'm outside the warranty coverage?

We sell all desk frame replacement parts. If you do not see what you are looking for on our website, please contact us via our contact page and we will advise you on steps required to remedy the problem.

Warranty Timeframe for KNF Desk Products

Fast Warranty Resolution

We often do not require the return of a damaged item or component before we ship out the replacement. Customers appreciate this as it reduces the time needed to resolve issues.

Depending on your location and the shipping method, it typically takes 6-9 business days for replacement parts or items to be delivered to you.

Exceptions to the timeframe

Please note that larger orders that require freight shipment may take an extra day to process and prepare for shipment.
